The residential home houses 189 children and 16 roommates, many brought by widowed or deserted mothers due to poverty. Facilities include well-ventilated dormitories, medical assistance available 24/7, purified drinking water, nutritious meals monitored for calorie and nutritional needs, and hygienic cooking. Additional amenities encompass tutorial classes, counseling sessions, play areas, a TV room, library with 370 books, composting for waste, monthly outings, festival celebrations, CCTV coverage, and infrastructure for online classes with laptops and tablets provided. Weekly doctor visits are arranged by Montfort Community Development Society, and support extends to higher studies sponsorship since 2006 and NEET preparation guidance.[1][4]
Each year, more than 900 girls receive basic education, and 180 girls get free food, shelter, clothing, education, and medical aid. Around 130 girls complete the State Board exam, and 25 students graduate with the home's support. The facility operates a pre & primary school and accepts donations eligible for Income Tax exemption under section 80G.[1][2][3]
