Questions

Questions about searching on WhatsApp

How do I search for a business on WhatsApp?

Open the chat with the Informay number and type what you need and where, for example "dentist in T Nagar". You get the best matches back, one message each, with a View page button.

Is it free?

Yes. Informay does not charge for searching. Normal WhatsApp message rules from your phone company apply.

What does "Claimed by the owner" mean?

It means the business has taken over its Informay page and manages it. An "Unclaimed listing" was made from public information, so please confirm hours and prices with the business before you go.

How many results do I get?

Five at a time. Reply MORE for the next five, or reply a number to see one business again.

Do you keep my searches?

We keep what you searched for up to 90 days, to see what people need, with your number reduced to a short code that cannot be turned back into a number. Reply STOP any time to stop hearing from us.

Can I search in Hindi, Tamil or Telugu?

You can type in English. Business names and places are matched best when written in English letters, for example "dantist in Anna Nagar".
